Versatile VinSante

To introduce more people to VinSanté we do product demonstrations -“demos”- at Whole Foods and other natural grocery markets. The feedback is interesting, sometimes touching and occasionally downright funny. It is always valuable.

Recently at a demo, an obviously pregnant lady, stopped to taste VinSanté, and said, “I’m so happy to find this – I’m in my 3rd trimester and I miss having wine with dinner.”  She was from a state where VinSanté is not sold yet, so she bought a mixed case to take home with her.  We have also had women with babies say, “I wish I had known about this a few months ago, when I was pregnant!”

The variety of responses we receive reflect the wonderful diversity in our population. We have people who say, “Oh, I can’t drink wine, because it gives me headaches” and are happy that there is not only zero alcohol, but also no sulfites or yeast (which often cause the headaches).  We also often hear “No alcohol? Oh good, I don’t drink alcohol” or “Oh, this tastes great; I don’t like the bite the alcohol gives wine.” We also get wine lovers who are either happy to have something to drink as an alternative at lunch or parties or to just drink a little less alcohol. We do occasionally get “No alcohol, what’s the point?” or “I like alcohol”, but we never meant to put across that it has to be one or the other…

VinSanté also has a lot of appeal as a drink for the whole family. We get a lot of feedback this time of year that VinSanté will be wonderful to have at the holiday dinner, so everyone can raise a glass in celebration. One grandmotherly lady said, “I love VinSanté, and when my grand kids come to dinner, they keep asking for ‘more of that kid wine’”.  She went on to say, “It’s so great, because it doesn’t make them bounce off the wall like sugary, ultra sweet juice does. (VinSanté contains about half the natural fruit sugar as most juices.)

A bit different than the standard – we had someone say that they were on a driving trip and stopped for a mountain bike ride, when they realized that they didn’t have any more water. They did have a bottle of VinSanté, so they put it in their bike bottles and declared it a “wonderful sport drink”.

– To your health!
